smoking and running track
i run track at my highschool, ive ran for a few years, i was wondering, would it not be a good idea to smoke the night before a race? i was thinking as long as i used a bowl or bong, to get rid of the carcinagens(i think thats how yu spell it), it would help by relaxing my muscles, and giving me a good night sleep. is this a good idea or no?

i use 2 get high all the time when i boxed, stay away from ciggs and ull b good

yo dude dont worry about it. smoking at night isnt gonna make you at all "out of shape" the next morning. the only way i see weed interfering with track is if you smoke constantly all day like i do, in which case you can't run half a mile without weezing and feeling like your chest is about to cave in with stabbing pains.

i disagree if you can train harder when your high because weed is a pain reliever and you work out harder when your muscles don't hurt just don't git too baked

I'd suggest you smoke after the race. Running requires top reaction times, and no burning smoke entering your lungs will help your times. Some people play sports better when high, but most don't.

How would a bong or bowl reduce the carcinogens??? The only way to do that is to vaporize it. Where did you hear that??
And everyone is different, and so are the strains.., but I know I feel tired and groggy the next day after smoking at night, and I don't feel like doing ANYTHING.
Sleeping will relax your muscles enough, thanks to evolution.
It will definately not BENEFIT you, but that's not to say it will hinder your performance.

my friend's little brother runs track. sometimes he comes in her room and smokes with us, then goes training. I don't see any problem with smoking the night before. there's no such thing as a weed hangover, at least I don't think.
